The Persian inscription inside the bowl reads: This was ordered by a merchant in Bukhara, drinking water out of this bowl will bring you health, an ornament for the table of generous people.
Bukhara became a Russian Protectorate in 1878.

POPOV. A WHITE-GROUND PORCELAIN SALT of averted rectangular form, the sides and interior of the base painted with ribbon-tied trophies and gilt foliage, fluted gilt lip, raised on four paw supports, factory mark in under glaze blue, circa 1840.
A PORCELAIN DISH in the form of a shallow kovsh with flattened handle and pointed prow, the centre painted with peasants in a troika traversing a typical Russian landscape, surmounted by a tromped embroidered textile and the profile portrait of a young peasant woman, the pink border with raised white ornament, printed factory mark of the Kornilov Brothers beneath an inscribed paper label, St. Petersburg, circa 1893.
This dish was most probably made as a souvenir for the World Fair held in Chicago in 1893. Several Russian porcelain manufacturers exhibited at this event, including the Kornilov factory who are known to have produced objects such as this with readily identifiable Russian decoration. As a result of this Exhibition Kornilov porcelain attracted much American attention and exports increased considerably.

decorated with the ciphers of the Emperor Nicholas II and his consort Alexandra Feodorovna above the foliate-bound arms of Moscow, 1896.
IMPERIAL PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY. A CIRCULAR CAVIAR POT of compressed form with two scrolls handles, the body with the crowned monogram of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich beneath a lilac and gilt border, printed in green with the cipher of Alexander III, circa 1890, and slight wear.
Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich ruled as Emperor Alexander III from 1881-1894.
IMPERIAL PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY. A TEA AND
COFFEE SERVICE comprising a teapot, coffee pot,
covered sugar bowl, cream jug, cake bowl, twelve
saucers and ten cups, the fluted bodies elaborately gilt
with foliate scrollwork and flower garlands on a white
ground, the borders enriched with diaper panels high-
lighted in blue, printed blue cipher of Nicholas I, second
quarter of the 19th Century.
IMPERIAL PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY. A WHITE GROUND PORCELAIN EASTER EGG painted with the crowned gilt monogram of the Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, pierced for a ribbon, circa 1900.
IMPERIAL PORCELAIN MANUFACTORY. A PAIR OF URN-SHAPED VASES each on circular foot with scrolled acanthus handles, decorated with a rectangular painted reserve, one with the Triumph of Galatea, the other with Venus and attendant marine, the reverse enriched with neo-classical ornament reserved against a green and white ground, the Shoulders and base with elaborate tooled gilt decoration, mounted on cylindrical green, white and gilt fluted pedestals, St. Petersburg, circa 1820 , one vase with damaged handle.
