ELEVENTH ARTEL. A SILVER-GILT AND SHADED CLOISONNE ENAMEL SUGAR BASIN of inverted baluster form, decorated with vase-shaped panels enriched with silver wirework, the matt gilt ground further enamelled with luxuriant foliage and flowers, emerald green and blue borders, the swing handle with similar enamel decoration, flared gilt base, Moscow, 1908-1917.
A SILVER-GILT AND SHADED CLOISONNE ENAMEL SALT
of bulbous circular form, the sides decorated with
scrolling foliage and flowers between turquoise bead
borders, raised on three bun supports, maker’s mark possibly
of Maria Semyonova, Moscow,
1895, chipped; and a silver and cloisonne enamel Salt
Spoon.
ELEVENTH ARTEL. A SMALL SILVER-GILT KOVSH of typical form with r-shaped handle enamelled with pansies and stylised flowers against a purple, grey and pale yellow ground, maker’s mark, Moscow, 1908-1917.
G. M. SBITNIEV. A SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMEL KOVSH, the sides with foliage and flowers within triangular fields of blue and pale yellow enamel, Moscow, 1908-1917.
MARIA SEMYONOVA. A SILVER-GILT AND SHADED CLOISONNE ENAMEL TEA GLASS HOLDER, the cylindrical body with scrolled rim and flared foot, decorated with stylised flower and leaf Ornament against cream, rust-coloured and matt silver-gilt grounds, further enriched with applied twisted wirework decoration, the scroll handle enamelled en suite, fitted with the original flower engraved glass, the tea glass 8cm. high, maker’s mark, Moscow, 1908-1917.
P. OVCHINNIKOV. A SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL BOWL of circular form with extended base, the bulbous body decorated with a wide and narrow border of dotted brown and white scrollwork with interlaced blue and green enamel foliage and scattered pink and blue flower heads, the rim and flower s enriched with silver studs, maker’s mark under Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1899-1908.
A CIRCULAR SILVER-GILT AND SHADED CLOISONNE ENAMEL SALT, the inverted body decorated with foliate sprays in shades of blue, pink and yellow enamel reserved against a pale green ground, further enriched with wirework flower heads and silver bead-work, raised on three bun supports, maker’s mark M.Ch., Moscow, 1908-1917.
N. ALEKSEEV. A LARGE SILVER-GILT AND SHADED CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSH, the bulbous body enamelled with luxuriant scrolling foliage and flowers, further enriched on both sides with cream enamel reserves of shaped outline enclosing similar leaf and stylised flower ornament, scroll handle, the upper surface enamelled en suite, turquoise dot and dark blue borders, maker’s mark, Moscow, late 19th Century.
IVAN SALTYKOV. A SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNE
ENAMEL IMPERIAL PRESENTATION TEA SERVICE
comprising a teapot, two-handled covered sugar bowl,
cream jug, tea strainer, caddy spoon, sugar tongs and
sachet fork, the teapot, sugar bowl and jug each of
baluster form on flared foot decorated with an intricate
pattern of multicolour enamel foliate scrollwork
and flower heads within white dot and turquoise
borders, subsequently applied with silver Imperial
State arms and engraved around the base with a Latin
presentation inscription, the handles and equipage
enamelled en suite,
Moscow, 1893, in fitted satin-lined wood case stamped
on the interior with the mark of P. Ovchinnikov under
Imperial warrant, the exterior applied with a silver
plaque engraved with the same presentation inscription.
The inscription reads: ‘By Order of His Imperial Majesty Nicholas II Emperor of all the Russians to James Simms, Optician and Mathematical Instrument Maker, 1895.

SPOON, the reverse of the bowl enamelled with multicolour flowers on long curling stems, white beaded borders, the spiral-twist handle and knapped finial enamelled en suite, maker’s mark partly indistinct, probably G.M., Moscow, 1899-1908; a silver and nacelle Tea Strainer, maker’s mark indistinct, Moscow, 1859; and an engraved silver Spoon with rounded bowl and spiral-twist handle, maker’s mark S.M.B., Moscow, 1899-1908.

SERVING SPOONS, the circular bowls decorated in translucent and opaque multicolour enamel with stylised leaf ornament, spiral-twist handles and enamelled terminals, maker’s mark possibly N.B., Moscow, 1908-1917.

with stylised flowers on curling foliate stems between
white bead borders, the base with a Latin presentation
inscription, maker’s mark, Moscow,

enamel Salt Spoon; and an enamelled silver-gilt
Teaspoon inscribed: ‘Budapest’ .

CIGARETTE CASE of flattened rectangular form, decorated on each side with two triangular panels of multicolour foliate scrollwork divided by a band of geometries ornament, the gilt interior engraved with signatures and dated 25th December 1915, apparently without maker’s mark, circa 1915.

enamel with intricate scrolling leaf patens beneath six

CIGARETTE CASE of rounded rectangular for m, decorated in shades of blue, green, white and translucent red enamel with panels of interwoven foliage and flowers encompassing a beaded white roundel and flower device, turquoise borders, Il cm. wide, maker’s mark, Moscow, 1908-1917, with later Soviet control mark.

CLOISONNE ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE decorated in predominantly blue and green enamel with flower and foliates reserves against a textured ground, further embellished with scrolling wirework motifs, cabochon thumb piece, maker’s mark, Moscow, 1908-1917.

Box, the lid enamelled with a boyarina taking pearls from a golden casket, the inverted sides with blue, green and translucent red champleve enamel decoration, Moscow, 1887, the base stamped: ‘Made for Tiffany & Co.’
A RECTANGULAR SILVER-GILT AND SHADED CLOISONNE
ENAMEL SNUFF BOX, the hinged lid decorated with a cream coloured flower reserve enamelled in shades of pink and green between two translucent rust c-scrolls, ail reserved against a dark blue ground, the sides similarly enamelled beneath a border of turquoise trefoil motifs, stuck with the maker’s mark F.R., possibly for Feodor Rucker, Moscow, 1899-1908.
