standing with a fan held across his torso,
his left arm relaxed to one side, the
three-quarter length coat and full-length
robe beneath both boldly edged in a
strong iron-red, the latter enameled
with overlapping aborigine and
turquoise pine sprays, the former with
apollonian leaves and under glaze [...]
